RFID - Radio Frequency Identification, we understand temporary with the theory of using Radio wave technology to manage some objects that more or lest we got familiar to see during shopping buying goods attached bar code, and emitted “beep” “beep” sound passing the counter. In the addition, there will be someone hanging a IDcard in front of chest that wanting to go in or out just move hover then “beep” the door opens; or some where you could easily see many kind of ATM, VIP, Smart Card, Yellow Card, AZlink... that they’ve already applied RFID technique for application as: inventory, recording, goods security, local security, payment, etc...
The above technique called RFID passive, with the theory of the tag will be assigned a code, via tag reader, the system will be recognized the object will be in or out, or loss, etc... then transfer to computer system managing and reporting rapidly. In order to read a “beep”, the RFID tag must be put close to the RFID reader, the reader will send a RF to the tag and replying back to reader to identify (ID) difference among others
What is RFID Active?
RFID Active concept absolutely based on the concept of RFID passive, however, the most difference is the tag of active system emitting signal to the reader, therefore, the reader could easily identify the ID of the tag remotely (Less than 300m) instead putting tag close to the reader of passive. To do so, most of active tag equipped a battery with the duration between 1 to 15 years depending on the distance and frequency emitting. The cost of the active tag (from 5USD to 100USD) will more expensive as compared against the passive (less than 1USD normally)
RFID Active’ve existed for 4 year recently, and became popular in improved countries in the automatic application: Local staff management (HSBC), card packing payment (Spanish), mother/kid alert (China), student, temperature management (HongKong), HR, smart house and asset management (Vibration sensor)

RFID Tag and reader catalogs:
- RFID mother/kid: mother will keep the key hanging and the kid will keep the teddy bear. Whenever, the alert mode activated, if the mother or kid moving far away each other more than 8m, both equipment will be trigged and sounding “beep” “beep” alert
- RFID staff tag: Each staff will be attached a tag (hanged in front of the chest), when staff(s) moving, tag will transmit to reader sending ID signal of staff to the server. Supervisor will control staff position easily via his/her PC connected to server. Most of common applications applied to banking such as tracking people moving in some restricted areas; if the is any violent, the system will be alert automatically. Applying in student, pupil, prisoner, etc... or car/motocycle packing
- RFID motion Tag: let you attach to your valuable assests/woods, whenever receiving a motioned signal, or moving out controlled area(s), the system will trigged alert
RFID Active Tags and Readers
RFID Active also used worldwide with many populate applications such as: Inventory, anti-thief, time recording, kid tracking, security, production, etc...
